INSPIRATION: Stephanie Winston Wolkoff

The Skull Cuffs are sterling Silver, English, Vintage—and I love to wear them together, one on each wrist. I bought them from my favorite vintage jeweler, Robin Katz, whose jewelry allows me to express my individual sense of style and personality, which is what fashion is all about.
I will always remember Alexander McQueen for his innovation and unique eye for detail. He was an artist in the true sense or the word. One of my favorite clutches—no rings needed.

I actually got this necklace on one of my late night Ebay sprees. I find amazing and unique pieces all of the time. I have kept all of my Fendi baguettes. One day my daughter will be so happy to visit my storage closets!Bag, Fendi; Necklace, Lanvin
Dennis custom made the middle coat for me. The swing had to be just right and the sleeve length had to be extra long.L to R, Coats, Louis Vuitton, Dennis Basso, Dolce & Gabbana; Necklace, Prada
I wore this Derek Lam dress to my 40th birthday lunch. It was a gift from Derek and Jan, and the perfect outfit for such a memorable day. The 11 photos behind, one for each year representing each year I was at Vogue, were a gift from Anna when I left Vogue. Every time I look at them I think of my Vogue family and all of the amazing people I met, projects I worked on and incredible experience I had under Anna’s mentorship. Photographs by Klein, Newton, Lindbergh, Leibovitz, Meisel, Elgort, Fairer, Lisnet, Meisel.Dress, Derek Lam; Necklace, Lanvin I love unique accessories not only in my outfits but also in my home. These sculptures were a gift from my in-laws from the Nancy Hoffman Gallery by artist Jessie Small. They are called ‘Ghosts’ and were inspired by the Pacman video games. As for the necklace, everyone who knows me knows that I have a weakness for bold statement pieces, and this necklace is just the right blend of classic crystals and modern design.Bag, Hermès; Necklace, Vera Wang When I started at Vogue I was the ultimate pantsuit girl (blue pin stripe Ralph Lauren), very classic, but over my time at Vogue I was exposed to so many great designers I couldn’t help but grow to love accessories and color! Prada accessories, Lanvin jewelry and Hermès cuffs (in every color and skin) are now mainstays in my wardrobe, and draping it on a Victor Salmones sculpture is a perfect way to ‘dress him up.’Clutch, Prada; Cuff, Hermès; Necklace, LanvinOur decorator, Kenny Alpert, who ‘gets’ my sense of style, found us the most amazing contemporary artwork. One of my favorite pictures is the one of the Damien Hirst picture with all of the primary colors. As you can tell from all of the different colors of bags I have it matches my lifestyle. They say life imitates art or is it art imitating life? Aha!L to R, Bags, YSL, Chanel, Hermès, BalenciagaI love Reuben Toledo. I worked with him when I was at Vogue producing 7th on Sale. I think he and Isabel are the perfect mix of fashion and art. These two sketches are the perfect entrance pieces to our home. I have some fun vintage Chanel bags, that I bought here in New York and when I was in Paris—they fit great into my Birkins for when I am on the go from office to lunch. All, ChanelWhen you mix a classic Hermès Kelly bag with a vintage Chanel necklace--the recipe is a master of classicism and beauty.Bag, Hermès; Necklace, Vintage Chanel
I do love my fur pieces. I love how Prada put the fur on the pockets, perfect for keeping my fingers warm and Blackberry ready! Love the attention to detail. Great practical Prada necklace it changes the neckline to every simple black collar. The beautiful crystal Vera Wang necklace on the bottom was a Christmas gift from Vera. Its fun and goes great from day to night adding an edge without being too serious.Coat, Prada; Necklace, Prada; Necklace, Miu MiuA friend of mines brother Alex Charriol had an exhibition and my husband I loved 2 paintings. The colors were ‘primary’ and the image was abstract—perfect! Just like self-expression—it is all about what ‘I’ like and what looks good on ‘me.’ I don’t do well with ‘trends.’ I need ‘staples’ as I am 6’1 and the mother of 3 with a full time job so I need clothing that works—it has to be about the working mom!Jacket, Louis Vuitton
Basketball has been an integral part of my life, and still is through my kids! I love how this picture is sports chic, it is the best of both worlds. My boys live in the playroom playing basketball surrounded by my closets filled with clothing. Once in a while it happens to make for a good hanger!Dress, Jean Paul Gaultier; Necklace, Prada
